Employees threaten to hold sit-in protest for fulfillment of demands

A meeting of government employees of different departments held under Chairmanship of President Muthada Mahaz Aasatzah District Hafizabad Riaz Ahmad Tarar. President APCA (Zafar Ali Khan) Hafizabad Muhammad Nasir Amin nominated as Chairman (AGEGA) All Government Employees Grand Alliance Hafizabad district.

Qamar Zaman Kambooh, Syed Shafiq Hussain Shah, Faisal Imran, Iftikhar Ahmad, Chairmen Punjab IT Teachers Association Aqeel Azad and other representatives of employees union attended the meeting. The meeting decided to hold sit-in in front of District Press Club Hafizabad on June, 2 at 10 AM to stress the government to fulfill justify demands of government employees who were grinding in mill of increasing inflation and depreciation of rupee. AGEGA demanded the government to increase 100 percent salaries, allowance and pension of employees in view of proportion of inflation.

Leaders of AGEGA also demanded to ensure implementation on reconditions of Pay and Pension Commission for increasing house rent, medical, conveyance allowances. On the other hand Chief Executive Health, Hafizabad, Dr. Farehah Akram Malik visited different swimming pools to review anti-dengue measures and issued notices to owners of two swimming pools to violate preventive measures of district administration.

She warned the swimming pools owners to ensure implementation of preventive measures set by health department Punjab and district administration Hafizabad to contain growth of dengue larva and mosquitoes in the district. She said that special teams of health department were engaged in indoor.
