Rangers, police nab two robbers wanted in multiple case

Karachi Rangers and police have claimed to have arrested two robbers wanted by law-enforcement agencies in more than 14 robbery cases from Orangi Town area of Karachi.

The Rangers spokesperson told media on Wednesday that police and the Ranger conducted an intelligence base joint operation against the robbers who were wanted by police in various crimes. He added that the arrested suspects have been identified as Abdul Rahman and Abid, and police have also recovered weapons from their possession during the operation.

The spokesperson further stated that during interrogation, the suspects confessed of snatching more than 40 mobile phones and looted over 50,000 rupees. The arrested suspects have been handed over to the police for further legal action, while raids are being conducted to apprehend their accomplices.

On other hand, police have arrested an injured suspect after an encounter in Karachi. The police have claimed to recover weapon and two mobile phones from his possession. The injured suspect has been shifted to hospital for medical aid.
