ISLAMABAD – Ousted premier and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has appeared before Lahore High Court to get protective bail in two terrorism cases registered against him in the federal capital in wake of clashes at the Federal Judicial Complex.
Reports in the media suggest that the vehicle of the defiant politician entered into court premises via the Mosque Gate due to security reasons. Khan, 70, appeared in the court of Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh, who will take up the cases.
PTI’s official handle shared clips showing the party chairman leaving his premises with his supporters cheering for him to appear before the court.

Last week, violent clashes were witnessed between PTI workers and the Islamabad police after former prime minister arrived at the Judicial Complex to attend the Toshakhana case.
After clashes, two cases were registered in Islamabad against the PTI chief and his supporters. He was accused of directing supporters to attack law enforcers and creating unrest outside the FJC in Islamabad.
The former PM then filed two petitions in the Lahore High Court, seeking protective bail to enable him to surrender.
This is a developing story, and will be updated later…
