Three-day workshop titled “IT for Office Management” concluded at Pakistan Broadcasting Academy in Islamabad on Thursday.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Principal PBA Muhammad Tariq Chaudhry said special distinction of the course was that it engaged more than a hundred PBC employees from eleven regional stations online.
He said PBC’s IT experts conducted the course themselves saving precious financial resources of the organization.
The Principal said the course was designed in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of digitalization leading to e-governance and e-management.
He appreciated concerned Station Directors for taking keen interest in facilitating participants for the course.
Muhammad Tariq Chaudhry expressed strong resolve to continue such highly productive and informative IT courses for capacity building of PBC’s staff.
He pledged to incorporate suggestions from the participants in the upcoming courses at PBA.
Talking about the PBA matters, the Principal said he has clear directions from the higher authorities to immediately revive and upgrade the academic activities at the campus for capacity building of young PBC professionals.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Principal Attia Aamir expressed the hope that this training will enable the participants to lift them up professionally.
Later, Principal PBA distributed certificates among the participants.
