Imtiaz felicitates nation as experimental electricity starts at Thar Coal project

Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh Congratulate nation as Experimental Electricity starts at Thar Cool project on Sunday.In a statement, Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Shaikh said that the trial of generating 1320 MW more electricity from Tharcoal has started with the help of Shanghai Electric.

Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikhadded that 1320 MW of electricity will be added to the national grid soon, 660, 660 MW of electricity has already been added from Engro and Habco power plants.

Meanwhile, Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that Thar’s coal is generating cheap electricity, coal-based electricity generation will help in reducing the import bill.Wahab said that the vision of People’s Party is leading Pakistan towards improvement.
