ANF foils drugs smuggling bids

The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled drugs smuggling bids during separate actions at Lahore Airport and Coastal Highway Pasni.

The ANF spokespersons said that a woman with 89 heroin-filled capsules in stomach, leaving for Bangkok through private airline flight TG-346 was arrested at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. The detained woman hailed from Sahiwal.

In another action at Coastal Highway in Pasni, the ANF recovered 96 kilogram imported hashish concealed in pebbles.

Separate cases in both incidents were registered under Drugs Act and investigations were underway.
