Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said the coalition government would fight all kinds of political adventures of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.

Briefed the media after the cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday. Marriyum said that Imran Khan wants instability and division in the country. She warned Imran Khan of misusing Quaid-e-Azam’s saying for his political gains. She added that Imran Khan should not compare himself with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

She said the one who announced the overthrow of the federal government went on to overthrow his own provincial governments in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The federal information minister said former Prime Minister Imran Khan will have to account for corruption including Toshakhana and foreign funding.

Information Minister Marriyum said Imran Khan’s thinking is not democratic and he is not only incompetent but an unsuccessful and corrupt person.

She said the former Imrani regime from 2018 to 2022 was the darkest period in the history of Pakistan and the current reason for the inflation is the mismanagement of the last 4 years.

She confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif did not accept the resignation of Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar.

She said there are ample reserves of wheat for the current year so, despite the floods, there is no threat of a wheat crisis in the country.
