Adulterators, hoarding and sale of edible items on arbitrary prices will not be tolerated at all whereas implementation on price list issued by the district administration will be ensured for providing maximum relief to the people and containing artificial dearness in the district while protection of consumers’ rights will be ensured according to policy of the government.
These views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Toqeer Ilyas Cheema while addressing the meeting of District Price Control Committee Hafizabad. DC directed the traders and shop keepers to paste price list of daily used items at prominent places at their shops and district administration would be ensured availability of bread according to fixed weight and prices.
