Peshawar hosts a four-day International Peace Conference

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority arranged a cultural musical night at PC Peshawar, for the foreign delegates participating in the International Peace and Sports Conference. The participants were entertained by the traditional music of Rubab and the performance of local singers.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Department, Bank of Khyber, AIPS Asia, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Writers Association jointly organized a four-day International Peace and Sports Conference from 30th to 2nd November 2022 at PC Peshawar.

Director General KPCTA Bakhtiar Khan, Asian Sports Journalists Federation President Hee Din Jung from Korea, Niranjan from Nepal, Awad Bin Mubarak from Saudi Arabia, Ramakrihnan Karuppaih from Sri Lanka, Izahar Atan from Malaysia, Eldar Ismayilov from Azerbaijan, Emmanuel Fantanean from Hungary, Anna Szilagyi from Hungary, Nargiz Mahmudzade from Europe, and Delegates from Afghanistan and other countries and officials of KPCTA were present on this occasion.

On this occasion, Bakhtiar Khan said “We are taking adequate steps for the promotion of tourism and culture in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is our first priority to provide safety and entertainment to foreign tourists delegates upon their arrival to Peshawar so that they could present a positive image of Peshawar and Pakistan to the world.

While addressing the conference he further said that “for providing facilities to tourists the tourism Authority is implementing several new projects for the promotion of tourism in the province including the settlement of new tourist spots. There are several initiatives that have been taken, such as integrated tourism zones, Camping pods, Tourism police, Tourist rest areas, Tourist resorts, jeep tracks, and many others. Eleven delegates from ten countries, young sports journalists from all over the country, and other participants attended the conference.
