Shifa holds Seminar on Kidney transplant and Flow Cytometry

Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminar on the topics of HLA Typing, DSA’s & Kidney Transplants, and Flow Cytometry in collaboration with the Department of Nephrology, Jinnah Hospital and Department of Oncology/ Pathology Jinnah hospital Lahore respectively.

The speaker, Brig (R). Dr. Tahir Aziz Ahmed (Consultant Immunologist), Dr.Humaira Nasir (Consultant Histopathologic), and Dr. Shafiq Cheema (Consultant Nephrologist) explained to the audience the latest developments and the modern practices applied to ensure the best diagnostic outcomes. The event was attended by leading nephrologists, urologists, oncologists, pathologists & physicians. Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Yahya (Principal, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore) appreciated the role of the Shifa team in conducting such an informative session in Lahore.

Dr.Imran Nazir Ahmad (Chief of Pathology, Shifa International Hospital), who was the speaker at the Flow Cytometry seminar, vowed to conduct more informative seminars & training workshops in collaboration with healthcare institutions for capacity building of doctors, associated staff & institutions to tackle the contemporary challenges related to kidney transplant & cancer treatment.
