The law makers in Senate on Thursday came hard over the arrest, torture of PTI leader Shehbaz Gill in police custody by the government and staged walked out against this action.
While Leader of House in the Senate Azam Nazeer Tarar claimed that his government did not believe in political victimization.
Speaking on a point of order opposition leader in Senate Waseem Shehzad said there was no room for torture in constitution.
But PTI leader Shehbaz Gill was severally tortured and brought to hospital in critical condition. He said the government was taking political revenge from him.
He termed the incumbent government as ‘fanciest”, who could not follow any rule of law. The government is victimizing Gill so as to get the statements against Imran Khan. If something happened to Shehbaz Gill, the government will be responsible for it.
