Pakistani writers interested to send their entries, comprising copies of their original work (English Novel/Short Story Collection), for KLF-Getz Fiction Prize 2020, worth Rs.300,000 cash, have been advised to do so by December 31, 2019.
The prize part of the 11th Karachi Literature Festival, 2020 is open for every Pakistani or Pakistan origin writer whose work must have been published during 2018-2019 by any publisher worldwide or be a self published.
Winner of the prize, that seeks to promote excellence in Pakistani fiction written in English language, will be decided by a jury comprising eminent Pakistani critics, writers and scholars.
Anthologies and multi-authored/edited volumes are not eligible nor English translation of books written originally in any other language would be acceptable for the prize.
Critics and readers have been invited to suggest books they think are eligible for the prize. Publishers and authors wishing to enter books for the prize are required to submit four copies each of the book.
Publishers working online can e.mail digital copy of their entries at [email protected] by December 31.
