An Indian Army soldier, Shantimay Rana, was ar-rested on the charges of leaking the military infor-mation.
The 24-year-old Shantimay was arrested after registration of a case under the Official Secrets Act 1923, media reports said.
Shantimay Rana is a resident of village Kanchanpur in Bagunda district of West Bengal. He was posted in the Artillery Unit in Jaipur.
Director General of Intelligence Wing of Ra-jasthan Police, Umesh Mishra, said, two women namely Gurnaur Kaur alias Ankita and Nisha had contacted the soldier through social media.—KMS
