In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a court in Srinagar, today, adjourned the hearing in a case registered against illegally detained Hurriyat leader, Farooq Ahmed Dar.

The Srinagar Sessions Court adjourned the hearing into the case registered against the Hurriyat leader after the lawyer appearing for the petitioner claimed that the police didn’t provide him security despite the Indian Supreme Court order.

Pertinently, the trial proceedings against Farooq Dar had begun nearly after 31 years following a plea was filed in the alleged murder of Kashmiri Pandit Satish Tickoo by his family. The Indian Supreme Court has already bailed out the Hurriyat leader in the case.—KMS
