A delegation of Federations of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce led by former Ambassador Shaukat Muqadam met Director, Overseas representative office of Yunan in Pakistan Li Ping at Islamabad. Deputy Director Liu Yalou was also present on the occasion.
They discussed matter pertaining to promotion of bi-lateral trade and commerce among Pakistan and China. Khurshid Barlas, Kareem Aziz Malik, FahadBarlas, Usman Ashraf, FahaWaheed and KhawajaFarooq apprised about the initiatives of government and private sector trade organizations for expansion of business activities besides providing trade development opportunities to SME sector representing different localities of Pakistan.
Shaukat Muqadam who had served as Ambassador of Pakistan in different countries said on the occasion that there is great room of economic development and mutual cooperation of trade in Pakistan and China and trade projects of both countries can explore new avenue of trade development by exchange of business community visits.
Li Ping briefed about the trade and business opportunities for Pakistan in Yunan Province of China and invited business community of Pakistan to participate in forth coming SSACCIF 2019 South and South-East Commodity Exchange and Investment Fair to be held at Yunan from 12 to 18 June 2019.
He said that Pakistan and China are best friends and business men of both countries can benefit each other by developing business partnership and trade development activities. He said there is great potential of different products of Pakistan in China and businesses men can show case their products in trade exhibitions and Expos.
KhurshidBarlas said that the opportunity for Pakistan in exhibition at Yunan would also be explored with the participation in forth coming SSACCIF Expo 2019.
