Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has assured the resolution of issues faced by paramedics in District Swat stating that paramedics have a vital role in ensuring efficient delivery of health care services. Health-related employees have already been given incentives, and in the future, every possible assistance would also be ensured according to the resources available to resolve their legitimate problems.
He made it clear that the first and ultimate goal of all government initiatives is to provide relief to the marginalized community including provision of best healthcare services.
He expressed these views while talking to a representative delegation of Paramedics from District Swat at Chief Minister’s House Peshawar. Advisor to Chief Minister on merged Districts Ajmal Wazir, Additional Secretary Health Kaleem Baloch and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion. The delegation appreciated the steps taken by the provincial government to improve the health sector, particularly the incentives given to paramedics. The delegation informed the Chief Minister about the demands and issues being faced by Paramedics.
The Chief Minister directed the Health Department to take pragmatic measures for the timely resolution of problems in consultation with paramedics. The Chief Minister said development of the health sector has been one of the top priorities of the provincial government. The provincial government has not only spent valuable resources to raise the standard of public run hospitals but also has taken serious steps to solve the problems of people belonging to the sector.
