GCUF featured top among all women universities of Pakistan

The year 2021 has been phenomenal in the history of Government College Women University Faisalabad. The University has extraordinarily improved its ranking with research productivity, social outreach, teaching facilities, developed infrastructure, financial investments, MOUs with various important organizations, professional development of faculty, automation of central library and human resource recruitments.

GCWUF was ranked 4th among all the women universities around the world in UI Green Metric World University Ranking 2021 and featured Top among all Women Universities of Pakistan.

GCWUF was ranked 4th among all the women universities around the world in UI Green Metric World University Ranking 2021. GCWUF featured Top among all Women Universities of Pakistan and has ranked 3rd among Asian Women Universities and between top 500-550 universities internationally in QS Asia Top University Rankings 2022.

According to Times Higher Education Rankings, GCWUF was ranked 1st among women universities of Pakistan, 4th among all the universities of Pakistan and 601-800 among 1,115 Universities from 94 countries of the world.

Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq, the Vice Chancellor GCWUF was awarded with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by Govt. of Pakistan for her 32 years excellent and exemplary services in higher education sector of Pakistan and abroad. GCWUF held its first convocation for the conferment of degrees to the students of BS, MA/MSc & of MS/MPhil (sessions 2013-2018) and 4188 students were awarded degrees including over 200 students who were given medals for their outstanding academic performance.

The Service Statutes of GCWUF were approved by the Chancellor Honorable Governor of the Punjab in 2021 and several meetings of Syndicate, Academic Council, BASR and Selection Boards were held in 2021 to streamline the academic and governance structure of the university.
