It is pertinent to mention here that the two men, arrested in connection with firing on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Bilal Yasin, who is also the nephew of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, had made some startling revelations to the interrogators.
Bilal Yasin had got injured on December 31, 2021 when two unknown motorcyclists opened fire at him in Lahore. Bilal was immediately shifted to Mayo Hospital for treatment. According to eyewitnesses, the PML-MPA received bullets in the leg and abdomen.
Police officials said the shooters, Majid and Kashif, had disclosed that they had agreed to take the life of the MPA in exchange for Ice Drugs; that they had been evicted from their homes by their parents a long time ago, and that planning for the attack was done at Muhsin’s outhouse, who was the partner of Mian Vicky, a bookie.
