A motorcyclist from north Kashmir’s Bandipora who was critically injured in a road accident on Monday in Sopore in neighbouring Baramulla district succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning in a Srinagar hospital, officials said.
As per the officials, Shabir Ahmad Sofi, son of Habibullah Sofi a resident of Ayathmulla in Bandipora was hit by a vehicle near Warpora village leaving him critically injured.
Sofi was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors referred him to SKIMS Srinagar for advanced treatment in a critical condition. However, Sofi succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning, he said.
Police have already registered a case in this regard and initiated the investigation.north kashmirroad accidents.—GK
