Arrests, NIA raids in IIOJK condemned

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) and police have arrested several persons including girl students and aged men in the territory.

The NIA arrested several people including Amir Ahmad Gojri and Muhammad Ayoub Butt during house raids in different areas of Srinagar, Baramulla, Sopore, Islamabad, Pulwama, Tral, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Hajin, Badgam, Kishtwar and Jammu.

Human rights organisations and Hurriyat leaders including Muslim Khawateen Markaz Chairperson, Yasmeen Raja, and Jammu and Kashmir Social and Justice League leader, Fatima Jan, in their statements expressed serious concern over the arrest of girl students, demanding their immediate release.—KMS
