University Sargodha Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar visited the University’s College of Agriculture and held a meeting with faculty members.
During the meeting, Prof Dr Athar Nadeem, Principal College of Agriculture briefed the VC about the departments, academic programs, ongoing research projects, laboratories, agricultural extension program, community outreach activities and citrus nursery.
The VC appreciated and acknowledged the contribution of the College of Agriculture in uplifting agricultural practices in the region by engaging local farmers.
Meanwhile, to pay tributes to nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Sargodha University organized Quran Khawani in the university’s mosque.
SU VC Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar, administrative heads and faculty members took part in the Quran khawani and prayed for his higher rank in Jannah. Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar expressed heartfelt sorrow and grief over the demise of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.
In the condolence message, he remarked that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has left an indelible mark on Pakistan’s history by providing the nuclear shield.
