The Lahore Waste Management Company has been implementing a comprehensive cleanliness plan prepared for Ashra Rehmatul Lil-Alameen.
Under the campaign, washing of mosques in the city has been started. According to the LWMC spokesperson, special cleaning arrangements are being made in view of the Eid Miladun Nabi. In this regard, LWMC is active in cleaning and washing mosques.
CEO LWMC Rafia Haider said that Lahore Waste Management Company has completed the task of cleaning and washing more than 72 mosques across the city and issued orders to the operation teams to stay in the field on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi. According to the plan, the target of washing 150 mosques will be completed in 24 hours.
As many 16 teams will remain in field for the planned washing activities from 8am to 4pm Top officials and monitoring teams will be on a constant field visit.
Meanwhile, Following improvement in the Covid-19 situation across Punjab province, the government has announced easing lockdown restrictions in all the 36 districts of the province till October 31.
The Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department issued a notification in this regard on Saturday, with effect from Oct 16 to 31.
