257 properties of different areas of public interest including shops, residential plots and private housing schemes in FDA-controlled residential colonies and commercial markets will be sold through public auction on September 28 and 29, 2021.
Necessary arrangements are being made departmentally in this regard. This was stated by Dr. Faisal Azeem, Director General, FDA. He said that in order to increase the financial resources of the FDA, a program has been formulated to sell or lease the available plots through open auction under the prevailing policy.
Departmental rules and regulations in this regard have been released. Regarding the details of properties offered for sale in the auction, he said that 31 shops in the Commercial Center of Millat Town, four for the offices of newspapers, 16 plots of four marlas, 154 shops in the Commercial Center of Ahmed nagar and other places and Madina Town.
In addition to the sale of a seven-marla residential plot in K-49-W-12 block, a 9.3 kanal area will be leased for recreational purposes near Hockey Stadium, Madina Town, while sixteen shops on the lower floor of Gulistan Plaza in Gulistan Colony No. 2 will be auctioned.
Thirteen shops on the upper floor will also be put up for auction.
He said that plots of different areas allotted for setting up of educational facilities in public interest in 26 different private housing schemes would also be auctioned.
He said that details of properties put up for auction could be obtained from State Management Department They are also being advertised through various sources for awareness.
