In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, body of a 17-year-old missing girl was found in Poonch district.

The body of the girl identified as Mehak Bi was found along the banks of a river Bikram Singh Yadgar Mangna in the district.

The girl went missing on August 21from her residence at Kamsar area in Poonch district, officials said .

Her dead body was found along the banks of a river near Bikram Singh Yadgar Mangnar, they said. SHO Poonch S D Singh confirmed the recovery of the body and said that proceedings have been launched.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth, Identified as Omar Rather, died in a road accident in Pulwama.—K MS
