SM Foods and Volka International Chairman Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali Anjum said that industrial sector is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy.
“It is fact that prosperity of the traders, workers and farmers is interlinked with a strong economy. Therefore harmonious efforts should be made to materialise the dream of prosperity.
Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali expressed the view while addressing a ceremony held to mark Independence Day here.
He further said that despite lockdown as per government directives, they did not laid off workers and staff, though it was difficult decision to bear the additional burden. “There is no need to be afraid of corona and we should get vaccinated themselves at earliest and follow SOPs.
We must work for the integrity and development of Pakistan beyond all linguistics and sectarianism prejudice as our prosperity is intertwined with the prosperity and development of Pakistan”, he underscored.
On the occasion, SM Foods and Volka International workers, staff and others were present.
