South African leaders, Mandla Mandela and Prince Dlamini, have paid tribute to the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Youm-e-Istehsal, observed across the world on Thursday, the 5th August.

Mandla Mandela, Nelson Mandela’s grandson, in a video message stated that the struggle of the Kashmiri people is their struggle and the South African people send a message of peace and secu-rity to the Kashmiris.

He expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris in their struggle for securing their right to self-determination and said that they [South Africans] will continue their support to the Kashmiri people until their struggle succeeds.

He said all peace-loving nations are standing alongside Kashmir and its people. He added that India should be ready to face the consequences of its crimes against humanity,
Nelson Mandela’s step-grandson, Prince Dlamini, also stated that the Kashmir dispute is a global one.

He further stated that Kashmiris and Palestinians should be given the right to choose their fate by themselves.

Dlamini demanded of the Britain to step for-ward and help resolve the Kashmir dispute. He said that India should step up and settle the Kashmir dispute with Pakistan.—KMS
