At least five were killed on Sunday when roof of a house collapsed in Lodhran. According to details, children were watching TV in a room of the under construction house when the roof collapsed.
Five minors who got trapped in the rubble died while three others were injured and shifted to hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, in Hafizabad, a female patient died in Hafizabad after the ceiling of the hospital fell down on Sunday. The roof collapse injured two other persons as well
The hospital administration tried to downplay the incident. Sources say other patients were being treated at the same ward where the roof collapsed.
In another incident, a bus of the Education Board that was going from Toba Tek Singh to Lahore rammed two motorcyclists at Samundri Road near Sabzi Mandi.
Two people died on the spot, however, the driver of the bus ran away from the scene. Police Station Saddar personnel have shifted the bodies to a hospital for post mortem.
