Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Ch. Waseem Akhtar said that OPC resolved more than 10,000 cases of Overseas Pakistanis and retrieved property worth Rs25 billion during the last three years.
He said “I joined PTI back in 2014 and the reason for joining this party was that I believed in the vision of Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan.
Overseas Pakistanis like all Pakistanis are very close to the heart of the PM as he has mentioned them time and again on several forums”.
Overseas Pakistanis are an asset to the nation who have proved their love for the motherland by sending huge amounts of foreign exchange even in testing times like Corona pandemic.”
Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Vice Chairperson Ch Waseem Akhtar expressed these views while talking to a delegation of senior members of PTI led by Hassan Khan Niazi here on Friday.
Other members of the delegation included PTI member Ali Zia Niazi, President West Region Punjab Ali Anwar, President Insaf Youth Wing Faisalabad Mian Saqib Altaf and Deputy Convener Chief Minister Punjab Media Team Ali Raza.

Punjab Assembly has recently passed OPC Act 2021 which has strengthened the commission more.
