The Centre for Coastal and Deltaic Studies, (CDSUS) University of Sindh Thatta Campus has been awarded Marine Research Project by Petroleum Marine Development Committee (PMDC) Sujawal.
The MoU has been signed by Syed Ayaz Shah Sheerazi, MNA Sujawal, Pro Vice Chancellor Sindh university campus Thatta Dr Rafique Ahmed Memon, Director Center for Coastal and Deltaic Studies Dr Mukhtiar Mahar and Deputy Commissioner Sujawal Ismail Memon.
The University of Sindh Thatta Campus will establish the Marine Research Laboratory and Survey Unit at regional level while it will conduct the research studies on biodiversity population dynamics, pollution impact assessment and way forwards of commercial marine biodiversity existing in creeks in Sujawal district.
On the occasion the MNA expressed that the initiative will bear positive results for the people of region.
