Traffic congestion on motorways due to huge movement of people towards their hometowns for Eidul Azha has increased responsibility of the Motorway Police to maintain traffic flow and avert mishaps.
Sector Commander M-5, SP Rana Sarfraz Ahmed stated at a meeting of officers and staff of BeatT-25. He stressed that on the occasion of Eidul Azha, it is responsibility of the officers to strictly enforce traffic rules and help and guide the citizens so that no untoward incident occurred. He said that in case of any emergency situation on motorway, the police should provide immediately relief.
He said that Motorway Police (MP) should protect the lives and valuables of the citizens. DSP Beat-25 Iftikhar Ahmad and Sector-1 PRO Hassan Malik were also present on the occasion.
