The Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani has said that the Jinnah and civil Hospitals are model of the state-of-the-art centers, besides our professional Doctors and medical field personalities are also having skills and expertise’s in their filed. Not only they served the country as well as in abroad with high distinction, which are national pride and commendable for all of us.
This he expressed these views while addressing as the guest of honor at the 54th Annual Symposium under” Providing Quality Care in Public Sector Hospitals” held at the Najamuddin Auditorium of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on Wednesday. The Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani has said that he was also belongs to the medical profession/field but not like a good student, his parents and others family members were are associated with the profession so he is closer to the medical field and well aware of problems, issues and matters, but our institute nonetheless and our doctors are proud of their ability and expertise in their field, I told someone at an event that we can export everything but we cannot export our doctors because our doctors and medical personnel are very able and talented?
He referred that “Under the Public Private Partnership in Sindh, our institution are giving good results, and in this regard the Chief Minister Sindh and the Government of Sindh have the full support of such institutions and they are fully supported without any interference, providing quality service and care to the needy and poor patients.
Former Executive Director and Chief Guest Professor Hassan Mansoor Zaidi addressed the organizers has congratulated the organizers to hold 54th Annual symposium successfully. He said that it was a matter of pride that this time, More than 1000 participants have registered. He said that Jinnah Hospital has improved a lot from my house job to becoming a director. It is a reward for all the teamwork and dedication. Dr. Seeme Jamali and his team also organized this symposium.
He has also done significant work in the hospital, there has also been considerable progress in the fields of oncology and physiotherapy, but I would say that the Jinnah Hospital is one of the main and leading positions in Pakistan in the field of oncology.
It is hoped that in other fields, the entire team will solve the issues of logistics, their appointments and development issues on a priority basis, and such symposiums will be organized and successful like every other year. The Executive Director Dr. Semen Jamali, Prof. Dr. Tariq Mohammad, Prof Dr Shahid Rasool and others were also spoke. Shields were given to chief Guest and others.
