Armed robbers looted two franchises of a private mobile company in Vehari and Burewala on Wednesday during broad daylight making the staff hostage at gunpoint.
According to details, three armed robbers barged into a local mobile company office and located at College Road Burewala, made the staff hostage at gunpoint, and took away Rs30,000 cash.
Meanwhile, in a similar incident, two armed robbers barged into a mobile company franchise in Mailsi area of Vehari, held the staff hostage at gunpoint, and took way Rs20,000 cash.
The citizens expressing concerns over the surge in crimes have demanded of the authorities for taking measures to secure public lives and properties.
