Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar on Thursday visited NAVTTC Headquarters and was briefed about the progress of various components of ongoing Hunarmand Pakistan (Skill for All) Programme under the umbrella of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan initiative.
Executive Director, National Vocational And Technical Training (NAVTTC) Dr Faheem Muhammad welcomed the SAPM and gave him a detailed presentation.
Dar while appreciating the NAVTTC initiatives, held Kamyab Jawan Initiative as the largest skill development programme in the history of the country launched with the objective to impart high technology trainings like artificial intelligence, robotics and many others to the youth.”
“Investing in our youth in terms of capacity building for the matching jobs market is our prime objective”, Dar added. He appreciated the NAVTTC’s achievements in recognition of prior learning (RPL) and apprenticeship programmes.
Dar expressed satisfaction on the pace of the implementation of various components of the programme and asked to achieve the set targets within stipulated time and to ensure quality in implementing the whole programme.
Executive Director, NAVTTC thanked the Special Assistant for ensuring full support in implementing the TVET reform agenda of NAVTTC under the umbrella of Prime Minister’s Hunarmand Programme.
