Influential people allegedly kidnapped, tortured and gang-raped a eunuch named Sohana in Chunian area for three days. The transgender was also brutally tortured by his kidnappers and the footage of the eunuch being tortured went viral on social media. Influential people of Ellahabad of area of Chunian kidnapped and gang-raped Sohana for three days.
Sohana submitted an application to the police but police refused to take action against the accused involved in it. In the video, it can be seen, the transgender pleaded not to torture her but the accused did not stop and commit worst torture by hanging her with ceiling upside down.
Meanwhile, two brothers were killed and one injured in a firing incident in Khudian Khas area of district Kasur.
Police said the three brothers were on their way towards a court in Kasur from Khudian Khas to appear in a case hearing when unknown assailants began shooting at them.
Two brothers died on the spot whereas the third one and another bystander received severe injuries. The police have shifted the dead and the injured to the local hospital.
Police said an investigation into the incident has been launched. The firing incident seemed to be a case of old enmity.
