Three persons succumbed to novel coronavirus COVID-19 while 17 others were tested positive in Attock on Tuesday. According to sources in health department, 67 years old Mohammad Khan- a resident of Attock, 35 years old Ms Naheed Akhter and 51 years old Mohammad Naeem- a resident of Jand has succumbed to virus and buried at their respective native graveyards according to Covid-19 SoP for burial of the positive patients.
Moreover, after 17 new positive cases of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) appeared in district Attock during last 24 hours, the total number of the cases tested positive across the state reached to 987 on Tuesday, it was officially said. Chief executive District health authority, Dr Jawad Ellahi among the newly detected patients as many as 10 belongs to tehsil Fateh Jang , 4 to tehsil Attock and 03 other tehsil Hazro. He informed that the number of active patients in the district is 172 in which 170 are home isolated and all are asymptomatic while two others are under treatment in district. He said that as many as three suspected patients are also admitted in the district headquarters hospital.
