Federal Minister for Defense Pervez Khattak has said that former Premier Mian Nawaz Sharif has landed himself into hot waters after speaking against the State institutions and he will have to face the music. “Nawaz Sharif will be taught a lesson for speaking against the state institutions including Pakistan Army”. The Defense Minister said while addressing a gathering in Noshehra on Saturday.
Pervez Khattak said that the PML N Supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif, PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari, and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal ur Rahman and other politicians have teamed up in order to seek NRO for their corrupt practices and plundering of the national wealth. “But I declare the PTI government will never extend NRO or any concession to these corrupt people who have mercilessly plundered the country”. Mr. Khattak declared.
He rapped the JUI secretary general Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman saying Maulana from DI Khan could not live without power. Defense Minister disclosed that the National Accountability Bureau was tightening noose against Maulana Fazal ur Rahman to hold him accountable for accumulating assets through corrupt practice. Pervez Khattak said the 11-party Pakistan Democratic Movement leaders had committed massive corruption when in power and now they were trying to save their skin. He announced that the incumbent government would fight them single-handedly.
Chairman Standing Committing of National Assembly on Energy Imran Khattak, Member Provincial Assembly Idrees Khattak, provincial assembly constituency PK-63 candidate Mian Umar Kakakhel were also present on the occasion and addressed the gathering.
