Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that this election in Gilgit Baltistan is the election for GB’s better future and on 15 November the PPP’s jiyalas and jiyalis will celebrate their victory.
He was addressing a women convention at the residence of Saadia Danish on Tuesday. Secretary General PPP, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and President PPP central Punjab and former governor GB, Qamar Zaman Kaira were also present on the occasion.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PPP has always served the people of GB from the times of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to President Asif Ali Zardari. Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ended FCR and rajgiri system from GB. Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto introduced democracy in GB and allowed political parties to work in GB. President Asif Ali Zardari gave identity to the people of GB, gave GB the assembly and first governor and chief minister. The PPP gave a jiyala chief minister to GB and once again will do so.
Chairman PPP said that this election is for the future of the youth of GB. The people are voting for their right to rule, right to property, right to have separate province and right to choose the prime minister of Pakistan. This election is for better future of women of GB according to the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
He said that some people say that women will not be allowed to vote in Diamir but the jiyalas and jiyalis will not allow such people to succeed. Saadia Danish is a jiyali of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and will win the election from Diamer because she is carrying the ideology of great leader.
