Provincial Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has also contracted the Coronavirus. It may be recalled that Hussain Jahanian Gerdezi and Mian Aslam Iqbal’s Corona test had also came positive a couple of days back.
Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan was tested for Coronavirus when he became unwell. He has quarantined himself.
Two Punjab cabinet ministers Mian Aslam Iqbal and Hussain Jahanian Gardezi have already fallen victim to Corona. Apart from them, Chairman P&D, Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti and Secretary Food Asad Gilani have also fallen victim to corona a few days ago.
It may be recalled that the number of patients in Lahore has risen to 50,780 after 96 new cases were reported in 24 hours. According to the spokesperson of Primary and Secondary Health Care, Multan 13, Rawalpindi 11, Gujarat 7, Faisalabad 4, Chiniot, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Bahawalpur three each, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Vehari and Toba Tek Singh two, two while Narowal, Jhang.
One case has been reported in Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah and Okara.
