Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Mike Nithavrianakis called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at Governor House on Friday. The meeting discussed Pak-UK relations and steps to further strengthening them. Apart from this, the efforts of people of Pakistani origin in the construction and development of the United Kingdom and the difficulties faced by them were also discussed. During the meeting, enhanced economic cooperation between the two countries and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed. The Governor Sindh said that he was grateful to the United Kingdom for its cooperation in the fields of health and education while the cooperation of the United Kingdom in improving the infrastructure of facilities in Sindh province was commendable. The Governor Sindh further said that the city of Quaid-e-Azam is an ideal place with huge potential for investment in various sectors. The Sindh governor said that the federal government was taking all possible steps to improve the infrastructure of facilities in the city. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was taking all possible steps to improve the economy of the country.
