According to details, Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry and Governor Chaudhry Sarwar discussed various national and political matters during the meeting.
The Punjab governor said that the PTI government’s agenda is development and prosperity of Pakistan but the political opponents want turmoil, which the country cannot afford.
“Pakistan cannot withstand any political unrest amidst multiple challenges and every one should understand this fact”, he underscored.
“The opposition must play its role to strengthen the parliament and democracy rather than resorting to protests,” Governor Ch Sarwar said, adding that the opposition has been trying to destabilise the country but they will fail miserably.
“Both the PTI government and Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete constitutional term and the opposition should read writing on the wall.” Ch Sarwar said that the opposition wants to halt the process of accountability but this is not going to happen.
Transparent accountability without any discrimination is indispensable for the progress and development of Pakistan.
Those who are criticising national institutes will not be forgiven by the public and 220 million Pakistanis are proud of Pakistan army who defend our borders and ensure our security. He further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has fought the cause of Kashmiris in United Nations and the world will have to resolve Palestine and Kashmir dispute for international peace and security.
