473 new Covid cases reported

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 473 have been detected in Karachi in the past 24 hours.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the chief minister said that 152 cases reported from South, 127 Central, 126 East, 28 West, Korangi and Malir 20 each.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah  added that as many as 16 more patients of coronavirus died overnight lifting the death toll to 5,089 and 937 new cases emerged when 15,741 tests were conducted in the province.

The Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah  said that currently 24,318 patients were under treatment, of them 23,344 were in home isolation, 25 at isolation centers and 949 at different hospitals in the province.

The Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah  added that the condition of 890 patients was stated to be critical, including 77 shifted to ventilators.
