3p Pakistan 2026 Showcases High End Packaging Innovations

3P Pakistan 2026, the country’s largest trade exhibition dedicated to the plastic, printing and packaging industries, has brought together more than 650 companies from over 30 countries at Lahore Expo Centre.

Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain inaugurated the three-day event on Thursday. The exhibition will continue through Saturday, providing a platform for manufacturers and international exhibitors to showcase the latest machinery, technologies and products across the three industries.

Among the prominent participants, International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) introduced a new portfolio of advanced flexible packaging films, underscoring its expanding emphasis on sustainable, value-added and export-focused packaging solutions.

The company’s latest offerings include coated films, AlOx transparent barrier films, ultra-high-barrier metallised films, low-temperature sealing films, aroma-barrier films, high-heat-resistant and retortable films, next-generation BOPE, functional films and circular packaging solutions such as Mono-PE, Mono-PP, Mono-PET and PCR films.

Targeted at food manufacturers, FMCG companies and other consumer-oriented industries, the new products are designed to deliver stronger barrier properties, longer shelf life, greater recyclability and improved material efficiency.

The launch reflects IPAK’s continued expansion into specialised, higher-value packaging applications, enabling the company to cater to the increasingly sophisticated requirements of both local manufacturers and international customers.

The development could also support Pakistan’s broader export ambitions. The production of advanced barrier-coated and functional films locally could help manufacturers move up the value chain, diversify exports and contribute to foreign exchange earnings.

At the same time, increased local production of specialised packaging films could support import substitution by reducing dependence on selected materials currently procured from international markets.

Through its participation in 3P Pakistan 2026, IPAK is connecting with packaging converters, FMCG manufacturers, exporters and overseas buyers while positioning advanced manufacturing, sustainability and value-added exports as central pillars of its future growth strategy.
