The total district tally of coronavirus vaccination Wednesday reached 2,413,073 with the inoculation of 23,533 more persons against the deadly virus during the last 24 hours.
According to fresh data released by the District Health Authority, 40,849 health workers while 2,372,224 other people have received their dose so far.
The report said that the district health authority has registered 84 new infections during the last 24 hours including 75 of Rawalpindi and 9 from outside the district while six persons had lost their battle of life.
It updated that patients reported during the last 24 hours included 14 belonged to Rawal Town, 20 from Potohar town, 18 from Rawalpindi Cantt,seven from Kahutta,six from Kalar syeda, four from Gujar Khan, three each from Taxila and Kotli Sattian.
“Presently 176 confirmed patients were admitted to various facilities of the city including 21 in Holy Family Hospital, 55 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, 57 in Institute of Urology, 27 in Fauji Foundation Hospital, six in Bilal hospital, five in District Headquarter Hospital, three in Hearts international hospital and one each in Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Trust and Attock hospital” he added.
