ISLAMABAD – Italy has made it mandatory for Pakistani citizens to obtain a short-term visit visa if they intent to explore the European country as a tourist.

Italy, with a long Mediterranean coastline, offers fascinating culture, natural landscapes, artistic sites, and stunning cuisine. These are the reasons it is considered as one of the most popular tourist destinations across the world.

Pakistan citizens can lodge the application for the short-term Schengen visa at the Consulate of the country that he/she intends to visit.

If you intend to visit several Schengen States and the stays will be of equal length, you must apply at the Consulate of the country whose external borders you will cross first when entering the Schengen area.

There are multiple requirements to get the Schengen tourist visa. Providing an evidence for sufficient funds is one of key requirements while submitting applications for visit visa.

Minimum Bank Statement For Italy Schengen Visa

The bank statement, a document that shows you have sufficient financial funds for your stay in Italy. It should be no more than 30 days old.

As per reports, the minimum daily required amount for bearing expense of stay in Italy is 28 Euros if your are planning to stay more than 20 days.

As of December 27, 2024, one Euro is equal to Rs287.4. It means you need to have around Rs724,248 in your bank account if you are planning to stay there for up to 90 days.
