A merciless youth gunned down his father over domestic disputes here on Sunday and escaped the scene. Police said that accused Asadullah alias Souda exchanged hot words with his father Ghulam Safdar in jurisdiction of Nilore police station, Islamabad.
The verbal clash turned violent after which the culprit opened straight fire at father leaving him critically injured and fled the scene.
The injured Ghulam Sarwar was rushed to Poly Clinic where he succumbed to his wounds and the body was handed over to heirs after postmortem.
The police after registering a case against murderer of the father started raids for his arrest.—INP
