A 15-year-old maid identified as Aleezay was allegedly tortured to death by the house owner on Thursday.
The incident was reported in Ayub Colony, in 238-Kamoana, tehsil Jaranwala, Faisalabad.
Shamim, mother of the deceased Aleezay, informed that her daughter was working in the house for the last eight months against monthly salary of Rs8,000.
She alleged that the house owner tortured her daughter to death and later portrayed that the girl had died from fever.
“The house owner told us that Aleezay has died after suffering from fever”, Shamim claimed.
Contrary to the house owners claim, the woman said when they reached the house situated in Ayub Colony r, they saw her daughter’s body hanging from a ceiling fan.
She appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take notice of the incident and provide her justice.
