LAHORE – Another exciting development for students who are gearing up for an extended winter holidyas in schools.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat shared development on his official social media account, saying the winter break will start from December 22, 2025, until January 10, 2026, ensuring 23 full days of holiday joy.
Schools are effectively closing from December 20 and won’t welcome students back until January 12, 2026. Everything will lock up for the coldest part of the season.
Students are already cheering for holiday marathon, but parents and teachers may be bracing for a long, chilly battle with energetic kids at home.
An official government notification is expected very soon to confirm the closure schedule. As temperatures drop, holiday spirits rise, the countdown to Punjab’s major winter vacation has officially begun.
