LAHORE – A video showing a woman cricketer identified by social media users as “Mehak Pindi Wali” has gone viral, drawing widespread attention for her confident batting against fast bowlers in a tape-ball cricket match.
In the video, the woman can be seen wearing a traditional “shalwar kameez and dupatta” while holding the bat and taking on the bowlers with confidence.
She is shown striking boundaries during the game, prompting social media users to praise her apparent batting ability and confidence.

Despite that assessment, many social media users continued to claim that the footage was AI-generated.
