Weather update for Islamabad, Rawalpindi

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast dry weather for Islamabad/Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan during the next two days.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is likely in twin cities and most parts of the country on Tuesday evening/night and the following two days.

In Islamabad, maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 29-31 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 30-32 C on Thursday.

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 21-33 C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in upper Punjab, Islamabad, Potohar region, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the last 24 hours.

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 32 C.

Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 65 per cent.
