The weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country during the next few days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Spokesperson, PMD, Dr. Zaheer Ahmad Babar Thursday told APP that mainly hot and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country however rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in northeast Punjab, Potohar region and Kashmir.
He said that there were no chances of any significant rain during the next few days. According to the synoptic situation, continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country.
The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was 06 mm in Shaheed Benazirabad and 03 mm in Sakrand.
The highest maximum temperatures recorded during the period were Turbat 44 C, Lasbela 43, Sibbi, Nokundi, Pasni, Rohri, Bhakkar and Noorpur Thal 42 C. The local Met office has forecast hot and dry weather for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Thursday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 39.1 degree centigrade and 29.4 degree centigrade respectively.
The humidity was recorded 66 percent at 8 am and 45 percent at 5 pm. The sun will rise at 05:58 am and set at 18:19 pm tomorrow.—APP
